Marc C. Stoeckli
I am a Ph.D. student in economics at the University of Munich, Junior Economist at the ifo Institute, and Visiting Research Scholar at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. I was a visiting fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution between 2019 and 2021.
My research circles around inequality, human capital formation, and child development. I am particularly interested in how investments in children affect equality of opportunity and intergenerational mobility. My job market paper is on the relevance of parenting styles for child skill formation.
